Like most families, we dedicate the weekend to tidy up the house and do outside work. Yesterday I decided to dig up the east side of the backyard to plant a vegetable garden.

I am somewhat excited to have a vegetable garden, I always wanted to do gardening. There is just something about “living off the land” that brings satisfaction. Maybe it is the work itself; plowing the land, watering the crop, finding ways to remove nearby rodents etc, that brings satisfaction. (read more)

Anyone needing anmias pump supplies? I no longer need my animas pump supplies and have 5 boxes each of the insets and cartridges - all unopened. The Animas items are: 100-182-00 and 100-124-01. Both items work together and work on all Animas pumps - according to their website.

The Lafayette Tea Party turnout was pretty good considering the size of our cities. Unfortunately I couldn't come early enough to see the pouring of the tea into the Wabash River. Below are some highlights. (read more)

I am glad there is a Tax Day Tea Party in Lafayette tomorrow (12 - 2pm & 6 - 8pm). The party will take place at the pedestrian bridge, adjacent to the Main Street bridge that join West Lafayette and Lafayette. (read more)

Just about every other day my daughter will say something that is truer than she knows. Like most children she is full of energy and doesn't want to stop. In Portuguese we say "Ela e' electrica" (She is electric or She is like electricity). (read more)
