Update: Shopping.com API module for Drupal

Some years back I had a module made to use Shopping.com's API, unfortunately the module never made it to Drupal.org nor has been updated for the newer versions of Drupal. I blogged about this shopping comparison drupal module several weeks back.

I am working towards releasing a revenue sharing module back to the community. The module is based off a shopping comparison api, much like the Amazon module. This module will allow medium to large sites to leverage their traffic outside of advertising banners, Google Adsense etc.

Shoco update

Well, we are just about done with getting the Shoco website up. Josh is working on implementing the design and I have generated a decent list of FAQ's for interested users to read. The site will be bare bones for a few weeks but at least we are working towards our goals.

Our first real client faxed the agreement pages this past Friday. Once she submits 50% of the cost we can claim we have our first client! Yah! From there I want to hit the ground running. I know that there are other website owners out there who will want this implemented on their site. I plan to start advertising on SitePoint.com next week, hopefully, and see if we can generate more clients.

cold cold go away!

Today I just want to give an update as to what has been happening to last a few days. Nothing spectacular has been going on except for this cold I have. This cold started on the 17th, which was on Sunday. I was sitting there watching a football game when I felt the cold come on. And as of today I still have the cold. I have been using zinc lozenges for the last couple of days and they seem to be working because I feel a little bit better - even though the cold is hanging around.

Shoco - a new product line

I am a bit excited about an upcoming project. The product line will be called Shoco (short for Shopping Comparison) and will help website owners have a shopping comparison tool for their site. Why? Revenue. Webmasters are always looking for ways to make money. Many sites have a good number of faithful users that continue coming back to the web site on a daily basis.

By using Shoco, web site users won't need to leave your web site to do shopping comparison. It's an easy way to save time for your web site users and webmasters to make some revenue.
